FROM WHERE IT BEGAN

I’m Megan Thomson, ACMHC

When someone asks me about therapy, I say, “Therapy can be difficult and raw process.  Yet Therapy can also be fun and motivating”.   There will be those sessions where you feel empowered and motivated to find out those new and exciting truths about who you are and even what you can be!

I love working with people and helping the whole body and mind learn, heal, and grow. I enjoy learning and actively look for new things to incorporate into my sessions. I find I learn so much from those that I have the opportunity to work with!  I try to connect with my clients in a natural, authentic way. My therapy dog, Hooch is part of the process…he is a gentle giant and provides a quiet reassurance within the therapeutic setting.

So yes, therapy can be difficult.  But you are not in this alone, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space to delve into your most important issues. And I’m with you every step of the way.

“It took me a really long time to find a great therapist, but once I did it was so worth it. This place is amazing and really cares about you and your well-being. The staff is probably the kindest front desk staff I've ever encountered. Really give this place a try, it'll be worth it.”

“The staff at the front desk is super sweet and very helpful. They found my kiddos a counselor quickly and always answer any questions that I have. The counselors are awesome with my kids. The kids really enjoy coming and talking to them. The therapy really helps my younger daughter. While playing chess and talking helps my older son. I recommend this place to anyone that may be going through a difficult situation or even if you feel your person just needs someone to talk to.”

“My daughter and I were able to meet her counselor for the first time and it was a very nice meeting. She was so kind but at the same time, she told my daughter what would be expected! Thank you so much!”
